Do you want to go beyond the limits of recreational diving? Visit deeper dive sites and have more bottom time by exceeding the no-decompression limits! This requires another approach to diving: more serious‚ more planned‚ more calculated and without any tolerance for errors. Take your first step in technical diving in Ustica with Evasioni Blu Diving and discover what it means to be a technical diver!

PADI TEC 40 Program

What you'll learn during your PADI TEC40 diver course:

  • What is technical diving and what it means to be a responsible TEC diver.
  • How to assemble‚ use and check the proper functioning of technical diving equipment.
  • How to calculate and use the SAC (Surface Air Consumption) rate‚ the partial pressures of the gases‚ volumes and pressures of a cylinder and the MOD (Maximum Operating Depth).
  • Dive with no more than 10 minutes of decompression up to a maximum depth of 40 meters.
  • Use a single cylinder with decompression gas containing maximum EANx50 (oxygen up to 50%) to make the necessary decompression more conservative.
  •  Use Deco software to plan dives.
  • The procedures to be followed in an emergency during technical diving.

The PADI TEC40 Diver course is divided into three main parts:

  1. Knowledge development (individual and classroom study).
  2. Three practical applications in the classroom.
  3. Four open water dives to practice technical diving skills.
